Pup Joints

The primary use of the pup joint is to adjust the overall length of the drill string to land at a specific depth whilst staying within the working area of the kelly valve. Pup joints are available in various lengths.

Three types include:

• Crossover Pup Joint
• Drill Pipe Pup Joint
• Tubing Pup Joint
